1. The Five Senses Exercise

This one’s a game-changer and a personal favorite of mine. It’s like your senses are throwing a party, and you’re the guest of honor. Here’s the lowdown:

  • Sight: Pick five things you can see around you. Maybe it’s the way the light dances on your coffee mug or the shadow of a plant on the wall.
  • Touch: Notice four things you can feel. It could be the softness of your shirt, the breeze from a window, or even the surface you’re sitting on.
  • Hearing: Close your eyes and tune into three sounds. Maybe it’s distant traffic, the hum of your fridge, or birds chirping outside.
