After Trump’s Arraignment I am Underwhelmed, Yet Relieved

After waiting for nearly 6 years to see him held accountable, I have mixed feels after the arraignment. I am both elated to see the start of the process of accountability yet feeling it is not enough.

After Trump’s Arraignment, I am Underwhelmed, Yet Relieved

We all knew it was coming, and the apprehension has been palpable as many of us liberals, mature adults, and Democrats waited anxiously to see what would transpire in the courtroom.

I won’t lie — I had high hopes that day might bring some semblance of justice, or at least closure to an exhausting period in our government and culture…but after the arraignment concluded today, I must admit that my feelings are one of underwhelming relief.
