The Trump cult does mental gymnastics, excusing their idol from any guilt
At every new revelation, those looking in from the outside are sure this is the one.
We expect for the ‘trumpites’ to finally wake up.
New lows reveal themselves and yet the cult marches on.
The MAGAs snooze on.
It started with affirmation of the “you will not replace us” march, unbelievably called good people.
The continued demonization of anyone who dared to contradict his obvious lack of veracity, claiming them to be never Trumpers.
Repeated trampling on civil rights for anyone daring to claim alliance with the Democratic perspective, exclusion of left-leaning media, and ostracization of the leaders across the aisle are all excused and the ‘trump being trump’ claims explain away all.
Now, we are peeking behind the curtain and are seeing espionage claims. Freaking espionage!
