Amen to this, my friend!

I recently read a quip about how the evangelicals assure us the Bible's position on sexuality should be taken literally, while the statements on eating shellfish, forgiving debts, feeding the poor, etc. are merely suggestions. Their positions on things that offend God are quite self-serving.
