Life after the Trump Administration

I think that we can all admit that the Trump presidency has not gone as planned.

When We Got What We Wanted

His supporters were hooked with his promises of populist rhetoric.

In fact, thousands of previously-sane adults started exhibiting very strange behaviors. Remember the guy with “TRUMP” tattooed in bold, black lettering on his forehead that was shared and re-shared across social media platforms? The adoring groupies of peroxide blond, middle class caucasians women that swore they would let him grab their pu$$ies? Undoubtedly the same women that bemoan the fact that America’s morals have fallen because prayer was removed from schools?

The Evangelicals embraced his lip service of their ideals. They swooned over his overt acts of excessively bold patriotism while ignoring his actions off-stage. They praised his family photo ops, but never-mind that his grandchildren were very rarely photographed with him and when they did were visually fearful of him.

Promises of tax cuts wooed the masses. In a trancelike demeanor, self-proclaimed tea party patriots were giddy that their worries were over thanks to the trumpian messiah. Tax relief took some time, but the top 1% certainly benefited quickly, while the working class waited they eventually found their payroll taxes cut.
