Back when I was an every-Sunday worshipper, the pastor frequently stated the proof of inerrancy of scripture is scripture. This is the equivalent of a parent saying "because I say so" and equally as frustrating.

The evangelicals support their beliefs by their beliefs. No wonder they hate science.
