If your new partner claims to love cats, yet never seemed to want your cat, take this as a warning sign.

It may be a sign that they claim to love animals in general, but don’t actually like yours. What could seem like a small difference of opinion can be indicative of something much larger.

It’s important to pay attention to how they treat animals and if your cat is not given respect, it could be time to reassess the relationship.

At the end of the day, cats are wonderful companions and should have no problem being accepted and loved by someone who claims to love them. If your cat is not being treated with respect, it’s important to take action and find a better home for them if need be.

Don’t let anyone mistreat your beloved pet just because they claim to love cats.

Remember that cats have a strong sense of self-preservation and know when something isn’t quite right.
