Every political and economic system have used the Bible to sell their philosophy to evangelicals. Sadly, this demographic falls for this pandering to their mindless followers. Any dissent brings the charge of 'lacking faith' or browbeating into compliance.

For the record, Jesus' entire ministry was counter-establishment of any type. The entire point of Jesus is to point to God the Father as the One to whom we as humans owe our allegiance. Somehow, evangelicals overlook this.
