Palm Sunday is a Christian holiday that is celebrated on the Sunday before Easter.

It is a significant day in the Christian calendar and marks the beginning of Holy Week, which commemorates the events leading up to Jesus Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection.

Jesus was crucified after Palm Sunday because he was seen as a threat to the religious and political authorities of the time. When Jesus entered Jerusalem on a donkey, the people hailed him as the long-awaited Messiah and King of Israel. This caused concern among the religious leaders, who saw Jesus as a challenge to their authority and teachings.
