In recent years, the Republican Party has increasingly aligned itself with Christian nationalism, advocating for policies that blur the line between church and state.

This effort to impose Christianity on all Americans is not only un-American but also unconstitutional. The First Amendment guarantees freedom of religion, a principle that is foundational to our democracy.

Forcing a specific religious belief on the populace undermines the freedoms that define the United States.

The Constitution: A Secular Foundation

The First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution states, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.”
