Great point on employees remaining in a position they hate. Many employees waste their precious life by remaining in a role they truly hate. As a manager and team builder, I have helped past employees identify new opportunities and support them as they gain needed skills to secure a new role.

This is not managing out it is managing up - no one wants or needs a miserable employee.
