How Minority Rule Hijacked the Majority’s Will

Democracy? Not Exactly.

We like to tell ourselves that America is a democracy — ruled by the people, for the people.

But what happens when the people vote… and still lose?
When the popular will is consistently blocked by outdated systems, stacked courts, and rigged district maps?

Most Americans support abortion access, LGBTQ+ rights, gun safety, climate action, and voting protections.

But somehow, those policies keep getting blocked, reversed, or ignored. Why?
