For years, we’ve all been told that the economy is everything. “It’s the economy, stupid,” they said, as if focusing on our finances alone could chart our nation’s path to success.

While no one denies that jobs, wages, and inflation are critical issues, a stable, thriving economy depends on much more than unquestioning loyalty to economic slogans or promises from the past.

Under Democratic leadership, our economy has shown real improvement, resilience, and targeted action despite severe global headwinds.

Meanwhile, the GOP, with Trump as their economic icon, proposes a return to outdated, failed economic tactics that most economists warn would be a disaster for America.
