It’s Our Job to Fix This

It's our democracy. We need to stand up and fight for its survival.

We look around waiting for the guys in charge to fix the latest crisis.

Sadly, the proverbial mounted Calvary is not coming to our rescue.

Congress continues to argue along party lines.

The White House resident claims that everything is going great and that no one has done a better job than he has.

Police continue to use deadly force.

We are all standing around looking at each other expecting someone to do something. No one is moving.

Being The Adult in the Room

We are in unprecedented times. There are no grown-ups in control.

The leadership is clearly incompetent. There is no master plan of which to speak. The skills of strategizing is lost on this administration. Decisions are made through the lens of what is best for the wealthy and self with no longterm vision.

Welcome to the government of pre-schoolers.

It has taken nearly four years for us to realize that at no point is there going to be any logical solution. The Constitution is being shredded. There is no accountability. There is no oversight being permitted. Our tax dollars are being siphoned into personal accounts and laundered in campaign slush funds.
