Lessons Learned by Reading the Bible Cover to Cover (part 1)

We often think of the Bible as a collection of short, unrelated stories. This misses the point.

As an adult, it can be challenging to find time for activities that don’t involve work or family obligations. However, a few years ago, I made a commitment to read the Bible cover to cover and was surprised at how much I learned.

Here are some of the lessons I gained from this experience.

God is Omnipresent

The most important thing I learned is that God is everywhere and in everything.

He has been since the beginning of time, and he will continue to be until the end. This realization helped me put my faith into perspective and gave me a greater appreciation for his omnipresence.

God is with me in every aspect of my life. There is nothing I can hide from him, and no part of me he does not already know.

It’s Okay To Be Imperfect

I learned being imperfect isn’t a bad thing — it’s ok to make mistakes as long as you own up to them and learn from them.

The Bible contains stories of people who have made mistakes but still managed to find redemption in their lives. It also teaches us how we can find forgiveness through…
