MAGAs and Neanderthals: A Metaphorical Examination of Evolution and Adaptation

When the tendency to evolve is resisted, it creates a distorted and stagnant culture that refuses to move forward. And today, we see this phenomenon in the form of MAGAs, or “Make America Great Again” supporters.

The term MAGA has become synonymous with a certain type of thinking—one that is stubborn, close-minded, and resistant to change. It represents a group of people who long for the “good old days” and see any kind of progress or evolution as a threat to their way of life.

But what exactly does it mean to be a MAGA? Is it simply being a supporter of former President Trump, or is there more to it?

One thing is clear: MAGAs are not just a political faction; they are a mentality. It is an ingrained belief system that values tradition over progress, fear over acceptance, and division over unity.

And while this mentality may seem harmless at first glance, its consequences can be devastating.
