Christianity in Crisis: MAGAs Have Taken Over My Faith

As a devout Christian, it has been deeply upsetting to see the MAGA (Make America Great Again) movement appropriate my faith. This faction, while professing to uphold Christian values, often displays behaviors and attitudes that starkly contrast with the teachings of Jesus Christ. The crisis isn’t just political; it’s a profound spiritual dilemma.

The Misalignment with Christian Teachings

Christianity, at its core, is about love, compassion, forgiveness, and serving others—principles that Jesus Christ exemplified in his life and teachings.

However, the MAGA movement’s approach often contradicts these values.

The rhetoric of division, the stoking of fear against ‘the other,’ and the aggressive pursuit of power at all costs are antithetical to the essence of Christ’s message.
