May is Mental Health Awareness month. I have taken a few steps to invest in my mental health. It is not just important for overall health, but it helps us to better focus on our work and provide us with clarity.
Through my journey of investing in my mental health, I have learned a few lessons that I want to share.
Listen to your body — Physical activity is an integral part of mental health. It allows us to release the stress and tension from our bodies and minds. I have found that engaging in physical activities, such as biking or yoga, can be very beneficial for my mental state.
Create boundaries — It is important to create boundaries between work and personal life. This will help you to be more productive and mindful of how you manage your time.
Connect with nature — Research has shown that connecting with nature can help to reduce stress and anxiety levels. This could be something as simple as taking a walk in the park, or just sitting outside for a few minutes each day to appreciate the beauty of…
