You’re not alone. Difficulty sleeping is a common problem that millions of people worldwide suffer from. While there are numerous ways to improve your sleep, such as through diet, exercise, and stress management techniques, meditation is one of the most effective.

Mindful Breathing

One of the easiest ways to calm your mind before bed is to practice mindful breathing.

Simply close your eyes, inhale deeply through your nose, and exhale slowly through your mouth. Focus on your breath and how it feels as it enters and exits your body. If your mind wanders, gently bring your attention back to your breath.
