My Superpower is Having Zero F’s to Give

Having attained a certain age, I know my strength lies in my changed attitude. I have given up living to meet other’s expectations, strangers, friends, and family members alike.

Would you walk around carrying a boat anchor because someone told you to?

Are you tired of carrying around other people’s baggage like I am?

I certainly don’t want to be a source of grief for anyone. However, I am done with abiding by other people’s rules if those expectations don’t align with my values and what defines me as a person.

No more people-pleasing for the sake of a false sense of order.

I have come to firmly believe that my superpower is having zero f’s to give.

The goal is to live with purpose, passion, intentionality, and peace of mind.

And as unapologetic as this sounds, it has become a cornerstone of my life. No more stress or worry about pleasing others, and no more sacrificing my own values in favor of external pressures.

It’s time to become the author of my own life. It’s time for me to invest in self-care and step into my power without seeking validation or approval from anyone.
