Why are Evangelic pastors so nervous?

Want to see a pastor sweat? Do this. Ask him if one sin is more deadly than another. (Of course, the answer is no) Then, ask him why he is preaching homophobic messages but not a message against tattoos or eating shell fish.

Go ahead. I’ll wait.

Ok, what did he say? Did he stammer and stutter? Did he justify with some variation of ‘just trust me on this?’

See, pastors are not excited about congregants who actually read the Bible and ask questions. Bible readers, good. Critical thinkers who read the Bible, not good.
