The Death of Democracy — Can this Phoenix Rise from Ashes?

In the state of our union, can we save ourselves? Are we in a terminal state — simply in a form of hospice — only waiting for our country to die?

Growing up in America, we are taught of our heritage as the great melting pot.

Well, at least a version of it.

We embrace our heritage of bravery, opportunity, and hard work. Our ancestors came to this new land in search of more freedoms, and rights.

Well, at least a version of it.

School children are conditioned, indoctrinated to believe with enough hard work success is theirs for taking. Systemic, compulsory, state-sponsored patriotism indoctrinates public school children from a young age. Non-compliance is not an option.

This is the face of fascism.
