The Party’s Stance on Healthcare
For years, the Republican Party has been advocating for the repeal of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), or Obamacare.
They argue that it’s a burden on taxpayers and a violation of individual freedom. But when it comes to their healthcare, they’re not so keen on repealing it. A government-run healthcare system that receives funding from taxpayers covers members of Congress and their families. So when they say they’re against a government-run healthcare system, it’s disingenuous.
