The GOP: All Complaints and No Substance

Ah, the Grand Old Party (aka the party of piss and moan)—it seems like they’ve been around for centuries, and sometimes I wonder if they actually think they have.

But what is their message nowadays?

They whine and complain about everything, from cancel culture to mask mandates. They hold onto tired culture wars and battle cries, but is there anything beyond the noise? Spoiler alert: there isn’t.

They’ve got nothing.

Let’s begin with the favorite GOP talking point: cancel culture.

They love to cry about how they’re being silenced and censored, but when it comes down to it, they’re just mad that they can’t say whatever they want without any consequences. It’s not censorship when people call you out for being bigoted or harmful.

The bottom line is that there’s no message in their arguments against cancellation culture. They just want to be able to say…
