It’s no secret that the Republican Party isn’t known for being particularly accepting of LGBTQ+ individuals.

Their track record on equality is downright abysmal.

So when we see a high-profile Republican like Senator Tim Scott sporting what appears to be a beard—a woman who he’s using as a cover for his actual sexual orientation—it's hard not to roll our eyes. It’s even harder to believe that this is still something we have to deal with in 2021.
