Youth brings a certainty of right and wrong.
Justice seems black and white. Right and wrong appear to be polar opposites. Morality is an unblurred line in the sand.
Then life happens.
It is a nuanced world where the truth exists in shades of gray.
Right and wrong are still important, but they can often exist simultaneously. Justice is more complex than a binary choice of either/or.
Morality is situational and contextual. Life experiences shape our decisions and create unique choices for improved outcomes. We learn that relationships are the key to success, and true understanding comes from listening with empathy.
