Trans Men of Jesus Time — Yes, This Was a Thing and No, He Did Not Condemn This

Evangelicals like you to think the trans concept is newly created and would have been condemned by Jesus. The trans community was not condemned by Jesus.

People often think of religion as an institution that only validates binary gender norms.

While it is true that some religions have centralized cisgender, heterosexual male experiences, not all faiths are heteronormative.

Christianity, in particular, has a long and complex history with regards to gender, as evidenced by the many trans men who were present during the time of Jesus.
