Trump Fails — Reality Show Hosts as Leaders

Have we learned out lesson yet?

For three years, since November 2016, America has limped along, lacking any demonstration of true leadership.

The majority of Americans have been going about their business day to day, simply hoping and praying that nothing too major would happen. Until now we have been quite fortunate.

Until now.

Why Leaders Matter

Prior to this administration, some could argue that the office of the presidency was not important, that this office was simply a ceremonial ‘rubber stamp’ for the other two branches of government. The role of the president was one of delivering speeches written by a high priced speech writer.

Little did we know how important those speeches can be. In times of crisis, we look to our leaders for reassurances. Leaders are expected to be capable of developing strategies and have a plan. Some type of plan that will enhance the greater good. The plan needs to show us the way out of the dark times.

We used to believe that thanks to the strength and guidance of the Constitution, America could operate by the strength of rule of law with this document as our rails to keep the car on the road.
