The Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) is one of the most venerated institutions of government and law in our nation. It has earned a reputation for being independent and fair, with a duty to uphold the Constitution and make decisions that impact all Americans.

But today, trust in SCOTUS looks to be at an all-time low.

The news of Justice Thomas’ activities have gone viral, with some calling for his immediate resignation or impeachment.

Critics contend that he was unduly influenced by conservative special interests and question the integrity of SCOTUS as a whole. At the same time, recent events in Washington D.C. have led to distrust of the federal government and its institutions.

With so much uncertainty, it’s easy to see why many Americans are concerned about their faith in SCOTUS.
