The magic of San Miguel de Allende

San Miguel de Allende is on the most picturesque pueblos of Mexico that one can imagine.

Every day brings a new vista and endless selfie opportunities. There seems to be no color that is off limits for painting the exterior of a house, and the rainbow of colors makes for a sensory overload to the visitor.

The churches’ splendor is beyond anything that can be imagined. Buildings that were built centuries before our forefathers even considered dumping tea into the Boston Harbor are mesmerizing.

Pre-hispanic structures at Canada de la Virgen are mind boggling. The precision with which these structures were built without the aid of modern tools and computers mystify.

I Don’t Want to Miss A Thing

As a visitor to this beyond-my-imagination land, I found that I have a terminal case of FOMO.

I want to ensure that I have a chance to witness all that this place has to offer. The region is rich in history and culture, both Mexican and Otomi, so my dilemma was how to not miss a single bit of it. Oh yeah. Did I mention that I am on a tight budget? So what is a girl to do?
