Why Don’t We Hear from Kamala Harris?
In a political landscape often dominated by the president, it’s easy for the vice president to fade into the background. But with Kamala Harris, the first female, first Black, and first South Asian vice president of the United States, there’s an expectation for more visibility, action, and voice.
Yet, why does it seem like we don’t hear from her as much as we should?
Since taking office, Kamala Harris has been involved in various initiatives and tasks assigned by President Joe Biden. Still, her public presence has been somewhat subdued compared to her predecessors. It’s not a matter of capability or willingness; Harris has demonstrated her competence and dedication throughout her career.
However, the question arises: why aren’t we hearing more from her directly?
One explanation might be the dynamics of the current administration. President Biden has been at the forefront of several critical issues, from the COVID-19 pandemic response to economic recovery efforts.
