Why is Pastor Always Yelling at Me?

Does anyone else have the sneaking suspicion that they are their Pastor’s favorite topic?
A Modern Woman
My husband explains me to people as a ‘modern woman.’ This is in explanation of a couple of things. First, I do not have his last name. I mean what’s wrong with the name with which my parents endowed me? Secondly, I am honestly a crappy homemaker. I don’t cook well, my cleaning skills are pitiful, and my demure and feminine side are well concealed.
Yikes, you might say. You are a hot mess, sister.
That may be right, but there are areas where I am skilled. And no, don’t go THERE.
My skills lie in my creativity with the written word — obviously.
Other skills that I have involve a successful career that has provided very well for our family, my financial wizardry, and my ability to educate our children in ways that the public school system seem to have forgotten.
