From the folks who used to argue women’s sports were a waste of time, unworthy of valuable scholarship resources comes to a new concern

Intellectual dissonance is echoing loud and strong in today’s Republican party.

As campaign commercials, conservative talking heads, and the extreme far-right standouts enjoy tweeting, they are on a mission to protect women’s sports.

As a woman, a person with a brain and the capability of critical thought, these talking points are laughable.

At no point in history, before now, has the Republican party expressed any interest nor concern in women’s sports, other than perhaps to occasionally support the nay-sayers of equal pay.
