Yes! Clearly the evangelicals miss the point of this entirely!

Notice Jesus did not say he would need to be baptized first before going to heaven?

He did not say the thief needed to confess his sins.

He did not say he needed to pay a penance.

He did not say he needed to earn his way through good works.

Will they ever read their Bibles and start following Jesus’ example? Yeah. Probably not.
