yes! You hit a bullseye! When my path crosses with other US citizens outside of the states, I am typically embarrassed. You can tell the 'Americans' (they never understand anyone living in North or South America are referred to as Americans) by their bud-lite beer, US flag clothing, and loud, drawling speech.

Often times, fellow travelers ask if I am Canadian because I am not obnoxious nor rude. Cracks me up.
